Lake Mahinapua

After leaving Okarito, this lake was our first stop to capture the Autumn warmth from the sun on this beautiful clear day.

Lake Mahinapua is our tranquil lake compared to Lake Kaniere. 10kms south of Hokitika, it is surrounded by native bush and has a roomy DOC campground.
