Calm after the Storm
The remnants of some wild weather lays on the edge of Lake Rotorua at Sulphur Bay.
Extract from a Department of Conservation document.
“Puarenga Stream flows into the bay and features geothermal activity at its mouth. This activity is the origin of the warmth and murky sulphurous suspensions in the water, which is low in oxygen and quiet acidic (pH3.5).”
A panoramic stitch made up from 5x 10sec portrait exposures.
