Wanaka Tree Sunrise

So apparently there’s this willow tree, that grew out of a fence post… #somewhereinalake #thatwanakatree #DoSomethingNewNZ or #DoSomethingEveryPhotographerDoes

Last time I was here in December 2019 I had to get my shot standing thigh deep in the water, see what I captured here.

Sadly on this occasion, the Queenstown Lakes District Council are trying to fine us for freedom camping when we simply arrived early to photograph the tree at sunrise.
