Mangorewa River

Just 20 km north of Rotorua on the western side of Tauranga Direct Road (SH 36) is a carpark which leads down to this river.

I was returning from a photoshoot over in Mt Manganui on Monday and decided to stop for a look. The river was running low and I was able to walk a couple of minutes upstream to these little rapids.

A chance to slow things down and smooth out the water with an ND filter I thought 😉
