Galactic Row Boat

This row boat sitting on the shores of Lake Tarawera last weekend made perfect foreground subject for a milky way shot. Met up with Amit Kamble Photography and his friends from Tauranga and they setup for time-lapses, unfortunately the clouds rolled in just after I took these shots.

The boat looked to have plenty of character with all that moss growing on the sides of it. Used a bit of light painting to illuminate the boat with my head torch. Two frames focus stacked and blended, one for the stars, one for the boat.
