Log with a View

Could you imagine sitting on this log watching the sunrises and sunsets over Lake Tarawera. It’s an awesome place from any angle!

Tagged along with Mark Smith NZ and Mack Photography NZ to shoot sunset last night and was awarded some pleasant colouring in the clouds after sundown.

Was a bit windy so used a neutral density filter (ND) to slow the shutter speed down to smooth out the water. Unfortunately you get a bit of blurring in the flax as a side effect.
