Lake Benmore Sunset

The view from the Benmore Peninsula Trail lookout is pretty stunning, some say the views are comparable to those at Roy’s Peak in Wanaka.
Surrounded by rugged mountains this expansive artificial lake (dammed for hydro-power generation), has amazing blue water.
