I’d like to dedicate this photo to the decking shown in this photo that has sadly been replaced on this lovely old jetty in Rangiuru Bay, Lake Tarawera
It’s a little disappointing as I loved the texture and detail in the planks and the moss that grew on it just added to the emotion in any photographs taken there.
It was originally about a metre from the edge of the water, creating something quite unique, but now it’s built right up onto the shore.
This photo was shot during one of the most amazing sunrises I have ever witnessed. Taken back on January 20th, 2015.
There was an explosion of colour in the sky during sunrise that morning that I luckily caught via timelapse with my phone in a nearby tree.
