Calm after Cook

I think Rotorua got off lightly from the force of Cyclone Cook last night. Hope everyone survived the night and there’s no damage where you are.

The water level in Lake Rotorua is at an all time high, after having had two cyclones bring as much rain in a month over a few days these past two weeks.
If you look at these other photos you’ll notice the difference in lake water level…
