Turquoise Sunset

Another sunset, another jetty in the Rotorua Lakes District.

Bare with me while I go through my wharf/jetty at sunrise/sunset phase 🙂

Taken as dusk last night, 17mins after the sun set below the horizon at Holden’s Bay, near Hannah’s Bay

The murky turquoise colour in the water is caused by the geothermal activity in Lake Rotorua.
