Otama Beach Isolation

On a recent visit to Whitianga in the Coromandel, I took the family over to Otama Beach for a swim. It’s a 30min trip North over some windy hills but we had this spectacular beach all to ourselves.

The gorgeous long sweeping golden sand beach led into this beautiful turquoise coloured ocean and during low tide exposed these magnificently encrusted rocks.

So while the kids splashed in the surf I got out my camera and snapped this 20sec long exposure to smooth out the clouds and surf.
