Guardian of Te Papaiouru Marae

Was just out at Ohinemutu for a quick photoshoot for a client and while I waited for the talent to arrive I shot this little guy standing guard outside.

There is four of them around a plaque in the centre of the grounds in front of the marae.

The beauty of using the D750 with it’s tilting vari-angle LCD screen lets me get shots like these without having to lie on the ground 😉
