Devil’s Punchbowl Falls
Snapped this shot back in May during an epic Fox Adventure with Mark Smith NZ, Mack Photography NZ & Rina Sjardin-Thompson
This is Devil’s Punchbowl Falls, a 131m waterfall in Arthur’s Pass and could easily be classed as ‘That Arthur’s Pass Tree’ after all, it can’t only be Wanaka that has a tree?… 😉
“The track crosses the Bealey River and Punchbowl creek with the aid of two footbridges before zigzagging up steps (240 of them) through mountain beech forest to a viewing area just below the falls.” – arthurspass.com.
