Another astro shot from our recent visit to Almer Hut.

This Department of Conservation (NZ) hut stands mid way up Franz Josef Glacier. It has some pretty spectacular views over the glacier and surrounding mountain ranges.

Huge thanks to Mark Smith NZ, Mack Photography NZ and Rina Sjardin-Thompson for the company on this trip. Was an awesome night and I’m still buzzing about the experience almost two weeks later.

Thanks to The Helicopter Line, New Zealand for the ride up there and back!
