Hooker Valley Track 360° Astrosphere

Last week while in the Mackenzie District with Mark Smith NZ and Mack Photography NZ we walked out to Hooker Lake for a look see. On our walk back to the car park, we were lucky to witness a little aurora display.

I stopped and shot this full 360° panosphere of the Milky Way arching out from behind Mt Cook and spanning across the sky.

The boardwalk made for some nice leading lines towards Mt Cook to the North and the Aurora Australis to the South.
