Atiamuri Astro

After what seems like weeks of cloud and miserable weather, Mark Smith and I took advantage of a small gap of clearish skies to head out for a little Astro sesh.

What we couldn’t escape was that ‘Waikato Fog’

The fog was lit up by the lights at the Atiamuri Power Station, which is a hydroelectric power station. It is the third of eight hydroelectric power stations on the Waikato River.
